'Giotto was my first Bracco. He tought me to appreciate his breed. But he did much more than that. Through the years Giotto and I have strolled through hundreds of fields, during training or hunting trials. And we travelled thousands of miles together; on our way to shows for example. Together in a small tent, camping in Hungary where Giotto won the world title. He did win a lot of prizes in shows and on top of that he did very well in the field. But much more than all the prizes he won, I will remember his fine character. Giotto was a peacemaker and a peaceful leader; he helped raise the puppies with his gentle touch. Someone once said that you will never forget your first love. In Giotto's case this will certainly be true.'
